Title: Love Outreach 2.0 Agege: Spreading Christ's Love in the Community

On August 27th, 2021, Donate Drive held Love Outreach 2.0, a community-based program in the Orile axis of Agege. This event was aimed at providing support to families and children in need and also sharing the message of love and hope through the gospel.

With the help of 16 dedicated volunteers, we were able to reach out to 132 children and their families. We provided them with various items such as stationeries, books, and clothes. Seeing the happy faces of the children showed the impact of our mission through the gospel shared while also having fun from games played.

The focus of the outreach was on being the light of the world and standing against sin, with an emphasis on the importance of courage as a child of God. We used the story of David and Goliath to illustrate this lesson and sang several songs, including “Read Your Bible, Pray Every Day,” to reinforce the teachings and provide a fun and memorable experience for the children.

In addition to the main program, we had a gender-based break-out session where the children could focus on their needs and challenges. This allowed us to better address the needs of boys and girls and provide more targeted support. As usual, we leveraged community support in helping us to reach more people and make a greater impact in the community.

Love Outreach 2.0 was a successful and impactful event. We were able to reach out to 72 children who accepted Jesus as their saviour. We are grateful for the support of our volunteers, partners, and donors in making this event a success.

We understand that every naira spent on our programs is an investment in the lives of the children and families we serve. Therefore, we are committed to maximizing the impact of these expenses and ensuring that they are used in the most effective and responsible way possible.

As we continue to spread love and hope in our community, we look forward to making more impact in the lives of those we serve.
